Home > Islands Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo, Cayo Largo del Sur These are the three most popular of the Cuban islands. Both Cayos Guillermo and Coco (north of the island) are accessible by car, thanks to huge casueways built between the mainland and the islands. Cayo Largo del Sur is on the south side of Cuba and relatively isolated, so wildlife (including turtles, iguanas and cranes) are somewhat approachable.  Day trips to other islands are possible from Cayo Largo.
